3D Custom Assets

This is a collection of several, hard-surface modeled assets created for various purposes, all created in Autodesk Maya-2025.

3D Character - Kiui

Being heavily inspired by 3D anime-styled models and video games adopting this method of 3D character design, I created a character of my own. This is my second attempt at this style, coming back again with newly-learned skills and tools to assist me in the creation of this original character, Kiui.

Animal/Creature 3D Models

These models are all created in ZBrush and then exported to Maya to retopologize the models. Some were then imported into Substance Painter to add color and texture. These models prove I can model soft shapes and use ZBrush proficiently and swiftly.

The Evolution of Lu

During the fall and winter months of 2024, I created a series of illustrations based on a custom character named Lu. I included these illustrations and concept sketches to show the evolution and finalization of my creative ideas.

Gesture Drawings

These are some gesture and still-life drawings I created based on multiple types of animals and people. Focusing on line of action, attention to detail, and using my eye to simplify that detail into the most basic shapes, these drawings show my understanding of form and action lines.
